Capu Biancu's unique cellar

Corsica is an exceptional region. Fertile, generous and sunny, it offers up some rare, typical and noble wines. Powerful reds, floral white and fruity rosés are known for their high quality and distinctive nature. For years, the sommelier of U Capu Biancu, Vanessa Maloyer, has travelled across the vineyards of the island, selecting the very best vintages to be housed in the walls of our cellar. Alongside them, PDO wines from other regions mature. In all, some 7,000 varieties – 90% of which are Corsican and 60% organic – wait to be observed, smelt and, above all, savoured.

Cellar dinners andlunches

Freshness and delicacy! That's what awaits wine lovers, collectors or those simply curious. Freshness, sweetness and much more. Because our cellar lunches and dinners go far beyond a simple initiation to wine, against a backdrop of Corsican cheeses and cold meats. They are friendly breaks to be enjoyed with family or friends. Moments during which we discover the island vineyards and, through them, the work of local winemakers and producers. Here, we play with aromas, flavours and textures. We note our impressions, stored in our memories or brought home with us in our tasting book.

The vines of U Capu Biancu

A vineyard, but cultivated through biodynamics!

6,800 vines! Yes, on 24 February 2022, we planted 6,800 vines near the villas of U Capu Biancu. We planted them with this same commitment: to respect this land, capable of returning our efforts to us a hundred times over. We will raise them and cultivate them through biodynamics – that is to say, following the lunar cycle, by working the soil as little as possible and listening to the needs of the vine. We will follow the growth of each one with all the attention they deserve. And we hope to see the appearance of our first harvest at the dawn of 2025.
