Our vision

In pursuit of our vision, we aim to expand our Capu Family by welcoming new members who share our values. We are committed to creating optimal working conditions, offering each employee the opportunity to reconcile personal development with commitment to our collective project. U Capu Biancu is much more than just a company! It's a family united by shared values and principles that are embodied on a daily basis. It's also the chance to grow up in a professional environment conducive to success, where each individual can excel and offer the best. Each member plays an essential role in shaping the future.

We also place great emphasis on training our teams and passing on knowledge and skills. So that every member can develop in a working environment that is conducive to learning, where passing on knowledge is celebrated as an art form with passion and dedication. Creating a canvas where every detail counts. The rapid development of skills then becomes an essential chapter in your career.

Working with us

Reject preconceptions, discover reality.

With us in Corsica, every day is a new opportunity for growth, connection and personal development. In our house, transparency and authenticity are the watchwords. We're not just an entity, but a living story ready to reveal itself through questioning.

Explore with us the questions about seasonal jobs, and let our answers build a bridge between preconceptions and the reality of what it really means to live in a seaside resort.

CHR: Coffee, Hotel, Restaurant

Life in Capu Biancu U Capu Biancu

Why work at the CapuBiancu?

CHR means that only the restaurant and reception will receive tips.

All employees are entitled to tips, which are shared between them at the end of each month. The setting up and distribution of the tips was subject to a vote involving the entire seasonal team, demonstrating the solidarity within the organisation.

When you say "CHR", you mean that no attention is paid to the well-being of seasonal workers.

A wing of our staff building is renovated every winter, and we have installed air conditioning in all accommodation. Meals are also prepared by our communard and are free even on rest days.

CRH means that men have more opportunities than women.

Three out of five heads of department are women, and we naturally have parity between men and women in all departments.

CRH means that you don't have a life and that you don't get to discover the country where you spend a season.

With us, there are times when we don't spend the rest of the day sleeping to recuperate... but rather going to the beach, just 100 m from our rooms! An idyllic beach accessible only to seasonal workers. A book has also been created by our alumni to help you discover our island of beauty. With the must-sees, the places not to be missed, where the beer is cheapest...

When you say "CHR", you mean that we only work with young people with no experience of the trade.

The average age of our seasonal workers is 30, and most of them have been coming back for over 3 years.

CHR means no career opportunities.

Our catering manager started out as a chef de rang 4 years ago, our housekeeper started out as a chambermaid 4 years ago, our paillote manager started out as a barman 4 years ago, our reservations manager started out as a trainee 4 years ago, our pastry chef started out as a chef de partie 7 years ago, and our executive chef started out as a chef de partie 27 years ago!

CHR is synonymous with poverty wages and no benefits.

All work deserves a salary, but so do tips shared by all, co-optation bonuses, free accommodation, end-of-season bonuses... Provided you get it right and finish it! You'll also benefit from a linen maid who'll take care of your room linen and uniforms (not your personal laundry, don't kid yourself...).

When you say "CHR", you mean that loyalty is not taken into account.

Joining the Capu Family is part of a long-term perspective, offering former members well-deserved benefits that reflect their achievements and contributions. New members of the team are able to demonstrate their skills as they progress through the organisation. And seniority bonuses increase exponentially over the years.

When you say CHR, you mean you never see the owners.

At Capu Biancu, the Limongi family is all in it together. The children are, or have been, barkeepers, chambermaids, receptionists, booking and quality control managers, beach staff and skippers.
